Classic NYC at a Brooklyn Institution

Peter Luger’s Steakhouse. You’ve heard of it, yes?
When we talk about old school, this place fits it perfectly. From the date on the sign (1887) to the waiters wearing long white aprons and marking down your orders with a checklist pad, it’s a treat to be a patron at this time-tested restaurant.

The crowd is certainly a mixed bag of locals diving in (to their meals and their pockets). There were definitely some out-of-towners with their floral skirts and sneakers waiting with anticipation for a legendary meal. Then there were the Brooklyn originals with some gold chains and slicked hair. You know the ones…Then there was us. City dwellers with NY pride, getting ready for an epic meal. If you have a bucket list of restaurants – add this one now.
